MSW collection (urban solid waste)

This group includes all waste from domestic activity generated in homes.

Waste to be deposited: all waste that does not have a specific collection system in the municipality. Food scraps, paper or cardboard containers with food scraps, diapers or any waste that is not toxic or dangerous.

To conveniently separate organic matter at home, the use of aerated bins (with a grid) and compostable bags (which decompose together with the organic matter) is highly recommended.You can request compostable bins and bags from the City Council and the Tourist Office.

Waste collection and management services

Collection of old furniture or appliances at your home

You must call the indicated telephone number in advance to arrange a collection day (only on Mondays). Maximum 4 pieces of old furniture or appliances per address per day. They must be left in front of the house.

Font d’en Carròs Mobile Ecopark:

It is a vehicle managed by the COR that is installed periodically and in which non-bulky waste that does not fit in traditional containers can be deposited.

SUMMER: Plaça Francesc Carròs: Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

WINTER: Plaça Francesc Carròs. Monday from 10:00 to 14:00 or from 16:00 to 20:00 alternatively (one week in the morning and one week in the afternoon).

Waste you can bring: oil, clothes, shoes, toys, small household appliances, fluorescent tubes, batteries, electronic waste, printer toner waste, electrical cables, wood, metals, glass, plastic, paper, cardboard, porcelain, crystal, pots, pans, paint scraps, NON-bulky waste.

Selective Collection Point (former waste collection point)

From Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Thursday evenings from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Waste you can bring: glass, paper and cardboard, packaging, oil, clothes, shoes, toys, household appliances, fluorescent tubes, batteries, electronic waste, printer toner waste, electrical cables, wood, metals, plastic, porcelain, crystal, pots, pans, paint residues, bulky waste.
