Office for the promotion of the use of Valencian
The Office for the Promotion of the Use of Valencian is a service of the Font d’en Carròs City Council that is responsible for promoting the use of Valencian in all areas, both from an oral and written point of view, in our municipality.
Its functions are:
- Translation and correction of any type of text (acts, resolutions, specifications, agreements, information leaflets, etc.) from both the City Council and any non-profit association or entity located in the municipality of Font d’en Carròs.
- Correction of publications edited by the Font d’en Carròs City Council or by any non-profit association or entity located in the municipality of Font d’en Carròs, both books and leaflets, information brochures or holiday booklets.
- Linguistic advice on terminology, document writing, etc.
- Information about the exams of the Valencian Knowledge Qualification Board (dates, forms, contents, bibliography…)
- Carrying out campaigns to promote Valencian.
- Programming and carrying out linguistic normalization campaigns, carried out jointly with other administrations.
- Conducting Valencian courses aimed at civil servants and local administration workers.
