The Municipal Archive of Font d’en Carròs is a service open to citizens and a tool at the service of municipal management that allows for better efficiency and functioning of the municipal administration and promotes the dissemination and knowledge of the town’s history.
The functions of the Archive are: the conservation and organization of the municipal documentary heritage with the fundamental objective of:
- Satisfy the information and documentation needs necessary to justify the rights of natural or legal persons, public or private,
- To promote historical research and investigation,
- Ensure the recovery of unofficial documentary heritage through the acceptance of legacies or donations,
- Promote knowledge of the environment with the aim of fostering defense and enrichment through cultural activities.
