General social services constitute the basic structure of the public system of social services, through the provision of integrated and multi-purpose care aimed at the entire population, articulated through preventive, welfare and rehabilitation actions, in a primary, universal and free environment.
Its purpose is to promote the full development of the individual and the groups in which they are integrated, by enhancing their participation in the search for resources and prioritizing the most urgent and basic needs.
The general social services are responsible for the programming, implementation and management of generalized primary care intervention.
The City Council of La Font d’en Carròs provides social services through the Association of Municipalities of La Safor, an entity of which it is a part.
