The Municipal Agricultural Council of La Font d’en Carròs is a consultative body on agricultural matters that looks after the interests of the local agricultural sector and facilitates the participation of institutional, union, association and irrigator representatives, as well as neighbors linked to the agricultural world.
According to our Statutes of the Agricultural Council, the composition is as follows:
Article 3. Composition.
I.- The Municipal Agrarian Council of La Font d’En Carròs will be composed of the following members:
He will act as Secretary of the Council of the City Council or an official whom he delegates, who will act with voice but without vote.
The Mayor of the Corporation who will exercise the Presidency of the same, or the Councilor of the City Council to whom the Mayor delegates.
One Councilor for each of the political groups that make up the Corporation. Political groups may delegate their representation in the Council to a third party by means of a written statement signed by the spokesperson and presented by the City Council’s Registration Office. This delegation may be general or refer to a particular session.
Two representatives of the following agricultural unions:
1 U.G.T. Federation of Land Workers.
1 C.C.O.O., Federación del Campo.
Two representatives of the following agricultural associations:
1 Valencian Association of Farmers.
1 Union of Farmers.
Four representatives of the following groups of irrigators:
1 of the Community of Regantes “Canals Alts del Riu Serpis”
1 of the Community of Irrigation “Canals Baixos del Riu Serpis”
1 of the “Motor Frasquet” Irrigation Community
1 of the “Motor Mandarí” Irrigation Community
Two neighbors of the municipality who have a direct relationship with the activities of the municipal agricultural sector. To that effect, the City Hall will establish a period so that the corresponding applications can be submitted to opt for this designation, being resolved by means of a public lottery.
The agricultural council is a consultative body on agricultural matters and is made up of:

- Juan Vicente Escrivá Pons (Comunidad de Regantes “Canals Baixos del Riu Serpis”)
- Enrique Pérez Gregori (Comunidad de Regantes “Motor Mandarí”)
- Angel Herreros Fuster (resident of the municipality with a direct relationship with the activities of the municipal agricultural sector appointed by the Mayor – art.3 Council Statutes)
- Oscar Roselló Millet (resident of the municipality with a direct relationship with the activities of the municipal agricultural sector appointed by the Mayor – art.3 Council Statutes)
